Compostie Layup Technician

The Ability to read and interpret Customer and internal Blueprints, diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings.
Examine products for defects; perform required tests, measurements, make adjustments and verifiy specified tolerances.
Ability to perform Prepreg and wet lay-ups as required. Familiarity with Vacuum bagging, and de-bulking.
Mark and cut tapes, woven materials, honeycomb, adhesive and similar materials following templates, guides or specific dimensions and sequences.
Ability to use overhead laser projection systems to Engineering Drawing requirements.
Familiarity with all curing devices to include Autoclave, and oven cures.
Records information on appropriate production records, logs and other report forms. Prepares reports as required.
Performs re-work as required. Repairs defective products rejected by inspection or test personnel.
Use hand tools, such as rollers, paper cutters, scissors, x-acto, knives, electric heat gun and fixtures such as molds and mandrels.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
3+ years experience working with Composite Material.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Ability to logically plan work steps needed to complete complex assembles.
Accurate computer entry skills.
Experience working in a chemical environment preferred.
Valid Drivers License.
Job requires lifting of product/supplies up to 25 pounds on occasional basis, and may periodically require it throughout a production shift.
Individual will be required to be mobile, with frequent standing, bending, reaching, grasping, stooping and walking.
Must be able to wear all safety equipment as required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
