LOCATION.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work with revenue department regarding claims, billing, reimbursements and collections.
Posting payments to patient accounts from various insurance companiesCreating reports for billing errors, problem accounts and non-billed servicesReverse, move, & make corrections to patient accounts.
Working with the Director of Patient Accounts on refund requestsWorking as the liaison between insurance companies Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
A High School degree or equivalentPrevious experience in the healthcare industry with billing and insurance.
A grasp on basic accounting knowledgeProficiency in Excel and other Microsoft office programsProficiency at basic keyboarding/word-processing skillsThe ability to pass a Kansas Bureau of Investigation screen and Central Registry screen
